Four Supplements to Keep you Feeling Great this Season!
Cold and flu season is upon us! In preparation, we have put together a bundle of everything you need to be prepared to help you avoid feeling miserable this season.
Vitamin D
The first on the list is Vitamin D. During the Winter months, we get much less vitamin D than usual and some research points to this as being of of the main reasons we are more susceptible to illness during the Winter months. So, this package contains a flavorless vitamin D liquid you can take and give to kids with no issues.
Natural Antibiotic Throat Spray
The next item in the bundle is Wise Woman Herbals Throat Mist. This is like Magic. We SWEAR by this product. At the very first sign that something is not right, we start spraying our throats. We will spray 4-5 sprays in the back of our throats and carry the bottle with us, spraying any chance we get, maybe 5-6 times a day. We hardly every get sick as long as we have this spray handy. If we are even around someone that is sick, we will often give ourselves a little precautionary spray! It is the most effective and pleasant of the herbal throat sprays too. Our kids will even let us spray their throats once in a while.
Vitamin A
Genestra Vitamin A–Mulsion is the third item in the group. Studies have shown vitamin A to increase immune cells, helping to fight viruses off especially. It has even been shown to improve the beneficial bacteria in the gut, which are one of the first lines of defense from infections. We give 1,000 IU per pound of body weight if we get sick, and we do this for 2-3 days. This comes in 10,000 IU per drop.
So, if we are a 150lb adult, we would take 50,000 IU (5 drops) three times per day for 2-3 days and then no more than 10,000 IU (one drop) per day for maintenance. Always divide high doses of vitamin A to avoid headaches. Too much vitamin A (doses of 25,000 IU per day long term) can lead to liver issues. Short (2-3 days) larger doses have no negative consequences on the liver.
For children, if the child is 40 lbs, we would do 20,000 IU twice a day (2 drops) for 2-3 days (1,000 IU per pound of body weight divided into two doses).

This product has 10,000 IU of vitamin A. So, if you end up taking Bio Vegetarian, you do not need to take vitamin A daily. The protocol for this product is to take two tablets up to every waking hour for the first day and then two tablets 4-5 times a day until you are better. Yes, this sounds like a lot, but we aren’t messing around here. We want you to get quality high-doses of infection-fighting ingredients. Feel free to take less, but we don’t like to be sick and many doctors swear by this protocol.
The total cost for these products if purchased separately is $113.18. However, if you buy the Cold and Flu bundle, we are going to discount the price by 15% and offer you this deal for $96.20. Click “Add to Cart” to help keep you and your family well this holiday season!
