Herbalist & Alchemist started as a business in 1981. Its founder David Winston has been an herbalist since 1976, creating tinctures, oils and ointments for his patients in his private practice. He started to sell the extras and eventually decided to start a new business, naming it Herbalist & Alchemist. Today the company is a thriving business with a beautiful manufacturing facility and state-of-the-art computer and production systems. The company’s success lies on its mission to create, produce and supply the best quality herbal supplements made from pure and natural ingredients, all grown organically and ethically. The brand works with Rutgers University on quality assurance and manufactures more than 250 single extracts and herbal formulas. They only source raw materials from producers they trust and examine each ingredient meticulously so that they know everything in the product is listed on the label and vice versa.
