Foods Alive has been in the business since 2002. The company was founded by husband and wife team Ellen and Michael Moor, along with their son Matt and his wife Tammy. The brand started when they tasted a flax cracker that Ellen and Mike enjoyed in a raw food buffet. Ellen made her own version in her home kitchen and it was a major hit with the family. The family launched Foods Alive in the middle of 2002 and started the brand with Certified Organic Raw Golden Flax Crackers. They served it in 4 amazing flavors: Original, Maple & Cinnamon, Italian Zest, and Mexican Harvest. This company cares a lot about the value of food and how it is sustainably produced. Thus, Foods Alive only use premium certified natural, whole, vegan, kosher, and gluten-free materials. Foods Alive then began to offer more wonderful flavors like Onion Garlic and Carob Mint, Hemp and BBQ, and Mustard. In 2006, the company started producing cold-press golden flax oil. At present, Foods Alive offers a selection of raw Flax and Hemp-based Gourmet Oils and Super Dressings. They also provide a wide-ranging line of organic and whole raw Super Foods (chia seeds, maca powder, goji berries and a lot more) to make available for individuals who like to make healthy choices.
